The whip with antenna base is mounted outside the vehicle glass and the mount with cable attached is mounted directly opposite on the inside of the vehicle glass. This cell phone antenna comes with a Lifetime Manufacturer Warranty (Directly through the manufactuer (proof of purchase required).
